Successor of Intel D945GCLF Mainboard. Differences :

The Atom-CPU is a perfect basis for a low-cost system. It works very energy saving and therfor is perfect for mobile usage. But also can be used as a server, Car-PC or Multimedia solutions.

Atom-CPU mainly was developed for the upcoming „Mobile Internet Devices“ (MID), which are fielded between notebooks and cell phones. „The processors were equipped in 45nm production with the worlds smallest transistors“, said Intels Vice President Sean Maloney.

As IT-world currently is crying for „GreenIT“ schreit, this mainboard can be the answer. For example Intel was able to reduce the power consumption of the CPU from precessor D201GLY2 from 20W to 2.05W, which is really incredible ! Here other mainboards can not compete with !

For Operating you need a P4 adapter or a PSU with P4 connector

Für ein Board mit in Anführungsstrichen nur 1,6 GHz bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Habe eine SSD-Festplatte vebaut. Das Ding geht ab wie ein Zäpfchen.

Ich habe mir dieses ITX-Board eigentlich aus einem eher exotischen Grund gekauft. Ich baue nähmlich einen mobilen Roboter und war auf der suche nach einer leitungsfähigen aber sparsamen CPU. So bin ich beim Atom gelandet, welcher für meine Anwendungen, welche überwiegend in berechnen von irgendwelchen Sachen und kommunikation mit den Mikrocontrollern besteht, absolut ausreichend ist und seine Aufgabe bis jetzt auch immer erledigt hat.
Das einzige was ich noch zu bemängeln habe ist der Chipsatz, welcher als einziger aktiv gekühlt wird und wohl auch der Grund ist warum das Board doch noch soviel Energie verbraucht, deswegen dafür einen Stern Abzug.
Ansonsten bin ich super zufrieden.

Ein cooles Board. Wenn man den nervigen kleinen Lüfter noch mit einem Zalman oder dergleichen regelt ist er nicht mehr hörbar. Zusammen mit einem picoPSU Netzteil und einer 2 1/2"
HD 24W Verbrauch, geht also als HTPC gut durch und ist so nicht ,mehr hörbar. Qualität des SVGA Ausgangs ist ok.

Trés bonne carte mère, la réactivité dans les applications est impréssionnante. de plus, les connectiques/accessoires sont en trés grands nombres.
Franchement, j'ai acheté sur carTFT cette carte mère pour remplacer ma commel 1,2ghz afin d'intégrer le tout dans ma voiture.
C'est que du bonheur!

Das Board ist ausgesprochen flott, leider ist der Lüfter auf dem Chipsatz sehr laut. Als Wohnzimmer PC nur zu gebrauchen, wenn man den Lüfter austauscht.
