M1-ATX is an intelligent vehicle ATX power supply. Designed to provide power and to control the ON/OFF switch of a motherboard based on ignition status, M1-ATX is a wide input (6-24V) ATX power supply capable of surviving tough engine cranks (down to 5.7V) as well as transient over-voltage situations.

M1-ATX has 8 user selectable microcontroller driven timing modes, allowing you to choose up to 8 ignition/shutdown timing schemes. By removing all user-selectable jumpers, M1-ATX becomes a traditional PSU with no ignition control and it can be used in non-vehicle applications.

M1-ATX is an intelligent vehicle ATX power supply. M1-ATX has 8 user selectable microcontroller driven timing modes, allowing you to choose up to 8 ignition/shutdown timing schemes. By removing all user-selectable jumpers, M1-ATX becomes a traditional PSU with no ignition control and it can be used in non-vehicle applications.

Even if your computer is totally OFF, a PC will still consume few hundered milliwatts, needed to monitor PC ON/OFF status. When the computer is in the suspend/sleep mode, it will consume even more power, because the RAM needs to be powered at all times. The power consumption in the suspend mode is few watts. No matter how big your battery is, it will eventually drain your battery in a matter of days.

While in deep sleep mode, M1-ATX constantly monitors your car battery voltage levels, preventing deep discharge situations by automatically shutting down until battery levels reach safe levels again.

No more dead batteries, no more computer resets during engine cranks, along with multiple timing schemes, small formfactor and very competitive price makes the M1-ATX the premier solution for ATX vehicle power supply solutions.

M1-ATX comes equipped with ATX, HDD and Floppy cable harness, jumpers, faston connectors and 2 pin cables for motherboard ON/OFF switch. Just connect it to your 12V or 24V car / boat / RV battery and power up your PC.

Working from 8V Power input (6V for short time) !


M1-ATX is formfactor compatible with all Morex cases and eg. Travla C134/C150 enclosures.

- AutoLatch-Function :
AutoLatch is active during the fist 60s of PC operation (and only during the first 60 seconds). For example, If Ignition is turned ON and then OFF right away, M1-ATX will latch Ignition in ON position for the next 60 seconds, allowing your operating system to fully come up. This will prevent disk drive corruption or systems that remain hung in the ON position. After the first 60 seconds of system operation, the AutoLatch feature will be removed and system will shut down at as governed by the “Off-delay” setting

Note : M1-ATX is not compatible with Intel Atom based systems. Therefor please use M2-ATX, M3-ATX or M4-ATX power supplies instead.

very good power supply for ca pc. I'm using it with D945GCLF2D (atom dual core) and SSD and usb wifi card. It gives only 2Amps at 12 volt rail and thats the limitation on using it with motherboards with P4 connector. If i had notice it earlier i would have gone for M2 or M3. Very easy to configure the shoutdown controller, you just have to buy or make a P4 adapter if you are planning using it with intel processors.

An dem Ding gibt es aus meiner Sicht aber auch reineweg garnichts auszusetzen. Der Rechner fährt hoch und runter, ohne das man etwas zusätzliches tun muss. Einfach normal das Auto benutzen.

Das Netzteil ist für ein CAR-PC um eine sichere Funktion im Auto zu haben ein MUSS!!!
Funktioniert einwandfrei, bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät und der Firma.

Das beste was man seinem Car-PC gönnen kann und auch wirklich sollte! Denn mit einem nichtgeeignetem Netzteil kann das Mainboard und andere Peripherie beschädigt - und das ist ja nicht Sinn und Zweck
der Sache!? Genau dafür ist das M1 ja wirklich eine ideale Lösung - mein erstes M1 ist bei mir schon seit einem Jahr im Einsatz - und das ohne jegliche Störungen! Wenig Geld für eine lohnende Anschaffung!!!

Reicht noch für Atom Dualcore Systeme, sofern keine 3,5" Festplatten, oder normale 5,25" Laufwerke verwendet werden. Für stärkere Systeme wird auf der 12V Schiene zuwenig Strom zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Qualität scheint schlechter zu sein als bei den M2-Atx-(hv) Netzteilen. Jedenfalls wirkt es billiger verarbeitet.
Aber sofern die Leistung ausreicht ist es eine gute Lösung für CarPCs und zudem das günstigste dezidierte CarPC Netzteil. Durchaus zu empfehlen.
