CFI A-7879 V2 Mini-ITX enclosure (4x 3.5" NAS, 1x 2.5", Hot-Plug, 1x PCI, 250W)
The CFI-A7879 enables you to build a NAS-system (eg. with FreeNAS) on Mini-ITX basis. The enclosure offers 4x Hot-Plug SATA 3.5" drive bays and an internal 2.5" slot for the system drive. The internal 250W PSU offers enough power and the free PCI-slot on the rear side allows further expansion.

Ich hatte das Gehäuse für mein FreeNAS-Projekt bestellt.
Es ist ordentlich verarbeitet, die Lösungen mit dem Stromadapter von IDE auf SATA und den U-Eisen für den 2,5"-Einbauplatz scheinen mir aber nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Die Klappe vor den HDD-Schächten hackt ein wenig, die Hotplugschächte funktionieren dagegen tadellos.
Es geht relativ eng zu (der Intel Boxed-Kühler passt nur nach "Umarbeitung") aber das ist den geringen Abmessungen geschuldet.
Das Netzteil liefert genug Leistung um auch stromhungrigere Komponenten zu betreiben. Dabei ist es trotz den 4cm Minilüfters erstaunlich leise. Zum Wirkungsgrad habe ich keine Informationen gefunden.
Der Gehäuselüfter war nicht zur Mitarbeit zu bewegen, da ich zu faul war das ganze Gehäuse zu reklamieren (und vorher alles wieder auszubauen) wurde er auf eigene Kosten getauscht. Daher kann ich dazu keine Angaben machen.
Alles in allem ein gutes Gehäuse zu einem angemessenen Preis, über die kleinen Ecken und Kanten kann man leicht hinwegsehen. Alles Wichtige funktioniert ordentlich.

J'ai commander ce produit pour me monter une platforme de stockage sous lubuntu, que dire, premièrement, le logement 3,5 pouces sous les racks est trop difficilement accessible une fois la mini-itx monté et avec les cables sata les plus courts que j'ai pu trouver (30 cm), donc abandon de cet emplacement, ensuite le ventilateur 120 cm n'est pas très silencieux, l'alimentation n'est pas très bien refroidie. Après toutes ces critiques, il faut prendre en compte que ce type de produit est très rare et que pour ce monter son nas perso il n'y a pas mieux à mon avis.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und unkompliziert. Der Artikel war sicher verpackt und es gibt keine Beanstandungen. Alles super. Kann man nur empfehlen.

It does the job well. The box seems solid and built with nice material. I put a Jetway JNC9C-550-L motherboard and it is very silent. I remove one star for the bad finition of the power/HDD leds and because the PSU has a too small fan : it will probably become noisy when the dust will be installed.
Cooles Teil, für 129 EUR alles bestens. Für den Bau eines NAS bzw. eines Media-Servers / Media-Clients 2Go super geeignet.
